Explore the Stirling Christmas Lights throughout our City this festive season!
Celebrate and capture magical moments with loved ones, from Sunday 1 December to Sunday 5 January, at the following locations:
- Balga - Stirling Leisure - Balga | Bina Parkland
- Doubleview - Munro Reserve
- Hamersley - Hamersley Hub
- Inglewood - Inglewood Town Square
- Mount Lawley - Astor Theatre and Arcade | Beaufort Street
- Osborne Park - Osborne Community Hub | Main Street
- Scarborough - Scarborough Beach Foreshore
- Stirling - City of Stirling Administration Centre.

Christmas holiday services
As Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day fall during the week, your bin may be collected later than usual.
- For Christmas week, collections scheduled for Wednesday 25 December will be collected on Thursday 26 December. Thursday and Friday collections that week will occur the day after your regular schedule
- For New Year's week, collections scheduled for Wednesday 1 January 2025 will be collected on Thursday 2 January. Thursday and Friday collections will also occur the day after your regular schedule
- Green waste collections will cease on Monday 16 December 2024 and resume on Monday 6 January 2025. Residents in Area 4 Inglewood can place their green waste on the verge between 29 December and 6 January 2025.

The Recycling Centre Balcatta (238 Balcatta Road, Balcatta) is open the following hours:
- 7.30am – 4.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
- 7.00am - 5.00pm Thursday
- 8.00am – 4.00pm Sunday.
The Recycling Centre Balcatta will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

JP service at Stirling Library - Dianella will not be running between 17 December - 31 December (inclusive) and will resume on 7 January 2025.
Donate to the Christmas appeal
Lend a helping hand this Christmas and support those in need. You can do this by donating to the Stirling Women's Centre and the Safe at Home Program annual Christmas appeal. Donations can be dropped off at the following locations until Friday 13 December.
