hoopla is a digital media service that allows library members to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows. Online or through an app, hoopla delivers a catalogue of over 900,000+ titles that are available to be streamed or downloaded immediately - no holds or wait time.
Loan information
- Borrow up to 4 instant borrows per month
- Loan period differs according the format borrowed
- 21 Days for eBooks, eAudio, eComics and graphic novels
- 7 days for Music
- 3 days for Movies and TV episodes.
- Library card number and an email address is needed to create an account.

How to access
- To access hoopla on your mobile device or tablet, download the hoopla App from either the App Store or Google Play.
- To view the catalogue and reserve books online, please visit the Hoopla website.
Kanopy is a movie streaming platform for public libraries. Online or through an app, it delivers one of the most extensive collections of indie films, classic cinema, festival and educational documentaries, and movies.
Loan information
- Receive 8 tickets a month, that can be used on a variety of films or TV episodes (tickets will be reset to 8 on the 1st of each month)
- Each Film or TV episode will show the number of tickets required and how long you have to watch it
- Films or TV episodes will appear in your “continue watching” list with the remaining access time
- Kanopy Kids titles don’t use tickets. You have unlimited access to these titles each month.
- You will need your library card, PIN and email address to start watching.
