The time it takes for your item to be ready will depend on how popular the item is and whether someone else has the item currently on loan. For very popular items you may be placed in a queue with several people in front of you also waiting on the item. Stirling Libraries aim to make sure there are multiple copies of very popular items to minimise the time that you are waiting. If another member already has an item out, and you are next in line, you may have to wait the full 3-week borrowing period. You will receive an email when your item is ready to pick up at Hamersley Book Nook. You can check on your holds by logging in to the City of Stirling online catalogue.
