Help Shape the future of the ECU Mount Lawley Campus
DevelopmentWA is inviting the community to contribute to the future of the Edith Cowan University (ECU) Mount Lawley campus.
DevelopmentWA is inviting the community to contribute to the future of the Edith Cowan University (ECU) Mount Lawley campus site as part of its redevelopment plans. This follows the 2020 State Government announcement of the Perth City Deal, which includes relocating ECU Mount Lawley to the Perth CBD.
With the university moving, the Mount Lawley site presents a significant redevelopment opportunity. To ensure community input is at the heart of the project, DevelopmentWA is establishing a Community Reference Group (CRG). The CRG will provide feedback on key redevelopment principles, including land use, transport, parks, sustainability, and neighbourhood values.
DevelopmentWA is seeking around 30 representatives from various age groups, genders, and backgrounds, including local residents, businesses and community groups to participate.
The CRG will meet on two occasions in 2024:
- Saturday 16 November, 9.00am – 3.00pm at Building 3 ECU Mount Lawley Campus
- Saturday 30 November, 9am – 3pm at Building 3 ECU Mount Lawley Campus.
Participants who attend both sessions will receive a $100 gift card as recognition for their time and contribution.
Nominations to join the CRG are open until 27 October. For more information or to submit a nomination, visit their website.
