Joondanna Reserve upgrades set to enter next stage

The City of Stirling is excited to announce that new public toilet facilities are set to commence construction this month.
The City of Stirling is excited to announce the recent upgrades to Joondanna Reserve, enhancing its beauty and functionality for all visitors. The park features a BBQ area, a modern playground, and sheltered seating areas, making it an ideal spot for families and friends to connect and enjoy the outdoors.
To further improve the park's amenities, the City is installing a new public-use accessible toilet facility on the west side of the reserve. The new facility will include two cubicles, ensuring that all visitors have access to inclusive and convenient public amenities. Construction is set to commence in April.
The proposed public toilet is positioned close to the barbecue area and visible from the playground. This placement not only enhances accessibility but also ensures that families with children and other park users can easily find and use the facilities. Additionally, the proximity to the accessible parking bay will enhance access and inclusivity.
These upgrades will enhance the overall experience for all park users, providing a safe, convenient, and accessible environment for the residents.
