Take in Indian Ocean Sounds at Perth Festival

The City of Stirling is proud to sponsor Perth Festival 2025, bringing a fantastic free event to the local community on Saturday 1 March from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. Get ready for an unforgettable evening of music, culture, and celebration.  

Celebrate summer with an amazing night of music at Indian Ocean Sounds. Set against the backdrop of the breathtaking west coast sunset, this family-friendly event brings the soulful harmonies and energetic rhythms of the Indian Ocean to Scarborough Beach.  

Enjoy mesmerising performances from The Joy, a South African group blending traditional Zulu music with a cappella vocals, and Lindigo from Réunion Island, whose dynamic mix of African, Indian, Malagasy, and European influences creates a vibrant and uplifting musical experience.  

This lively event is an ode to music, and community spirit — perfect for those looking to soak up the festival atmosphere and dance the night away.
