Trigg Beach coastal protection works

The zig-zag pedestrian access ramp opposite Clarko Reserve in Trigg (near the intersection of Karrinyup Road and West Coast Drive) is being upgraded through rock armouring works.
The zig-zag pedestrian access ramp opposite Clarko Reserve in Trigg (near the intersection of Karrinyup Road and West Coast Drive) is being upgraded through rock armouring works.
Rock armouring is the process of placing large limestone boulders to absorb the energy from waves, providing a defence against the forces of the ocean.
The aim of the project is to prevent further erosion and undermining of the ramp.
To ensure community safety, and due to the tight space available for the works, the area will be temporarily closed.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by Thursday 6 March 2025.
