Water Corporation’s authorised contractor, Benang, will soon be renewing water reticulation pipes near you to futureproof Perth’s water supply.
Water reticulation mains can be found along almost every street in Perth, these connect and provide essential water services. Smaller in size, these pipes bring water into your home by connecting your water meter to the water main.
The replacement of the water reticulation pipes is essential to prevent future leaks and breaks and will help improve the security and reliability of the water supply to the area for decades to come.
Water Corporation has informed the CIty that work will take place in the following locations:
Nollamara
- Milford Way and Milford Place, Nollamara
- St Albans Rd, Nollamara
- Ravenswood Drive, Nollamara
- Harrison St, Nollamara.
Tuart Hill
- Hodgson St, Tuart Hill
- Park St, Tuart Hill
- French St and Federal St, Tuart Hill
- Banksia St, Haig St and Edna St, Tuart Hill.
Innaloo
- Barnes St, Innaloo.
In preparation for this work, you will soon notice contractors in your area completing service location to determine the exact location of underground services such as gas, electricity, telecommunications and drains.
Construction is planned to begin in late-2024and will be completed in sections. Each section is expected to take 6-8 weeks to complete.
Homes in the work area will receive notification from Water Corporation before work commences with more detailed information, including the construction start date.
Work will be mostly completed within verges, and if Water Corporation needs to complete work within your verge, you will be notified ahead of time to discuss any access requirements. Please be assured that any affected area will be reinstated as closely as possible to its condition before the work.
