Care finder

What is care finder? 

Funded by the WA Primary Health Alliance, The City of Stirling care finder service provides free and confidential information and support for older residents who require assistance to understand and access aged care and connect with other relevant community supports.

Who is eligible?

Although there is no formal application process, care finder services are designed to support people who:

  • Have communication barriers, including literacy and language
  • Have little or no access to technology like telephone, computer, or internet access
  • Have trouble understanding information about how to access support services
  • Who are hesitant to engage with aged care, institutions, or the government due to their past experiences, and
  • Who are at risk of homelessness or who are homeless.
