Tell us your historical story

Many fascinating details about how people lived in previous decades have never been written down and could be lost forever. The oral history process captures the voices, memories, and unique perspectives of individuals, providing a window into the past.

If you have an interesting story to tell, a cherished memory, a family tradition, or a slice of local history, we invite you to share it with us. By contributing to the Stirling Stories collection, you become part of an archive that preserves the voices and experiences of our community.

We actively seek and collect written information about former and current City of Stirling residents, including:

  • Where they came from
  • What they did for a living
  • How they developed their lives in Western Australia.
