Getting to and from Scarborough Beach is easy with multiple travel options including frequent buses, shared paths and Safe Active Street (Moorland/Manning Street), rideshare and taxi options.
Public transport
Use the Transperth JourneyPlanner to plan your journey. Consider parking along a bus route and catching the bus to and from Scarborough during peak times.
- Bus route 990 is a high frequency service between Glendalough Station and Scarborough Beach Bus Station via Scarborough Beach Road, plus additional 990 services from Perth Station along Scarborough Beach Road.
- Bus route 410 and 421 run regularly from Stirling Train Station.
Walking or riding
The coastal footpath is a shared access path which runs north/south along the coast. Manning Street/Moorland Streets are Safe Active Streets that run east/west linking Scarborough to Stirling Train Station. With a 30km speed limit, these quiet streets are ideal for cycling, e-scooters and pedestrians.

There are plenty of locations throughout the Scarborough area where you can park your bike or scooter.
Rideshare and taxi drop-off
If you’re using a rideshare or taxi, ask to be dropped off on the eastern side of West Coast Highway during peak times to avoid congestion.
Parking
The City is currently installing new signage to help drivers find parking at key locations on the City’s coastline including Watermans Bay, Bennion Beach and Clarko Reserve (Trigg) and Peasholm Dog Beach (Scarborough). The parking wayfinding signage will also include new signs at Scarborough and Trigg which show real-time bay availability and are expected to be installed by the end of November 2024.
Paid parking is available at the following locations:
- Wilson multi-storey carpark on Manning Street
- Secure Parking at the White Sands Tavern and Hastings Street
- Rendezvous Hotel Scarborough parking along The Esplanade.
Street parking is available throughout the Scarborough Precinct. Please follow parking signage to avoid any infringements.
Private carpark at the White Sands Tavern (fees apply).
Authorised vehicle parking to the south of Scarborough Beach Pool is time-limited between 5.00am and 4.00pm. 15 bays are available for public parking outside of these hours.
Motorcycle parking is available along The Esplanade and within adjacent carparking areas.
