Stirling Leisure - Mirrabooka billabong function room has a maximum capacity for 175 people standing, with a wide variety of inclusions to cater for your dream function. The venue is also accessible via pathways and features an accessible toilet.
The billabong function room includes a parquetry dance floor and mirror ball, refrigerated cool room and an adjoining kitchen (which includes fridge, microwave and built in hot water urn). There is also an adjacent loading bay for convenience. The room also has carpeted flooring and evaporative air-conditioning to help keep you cool on those hot summer days, with heaters for winter events. AV equipment (projector, sound system and TV screens) is also available in this room, this making it an ideal room for entertaining the guests at your function.

Community rate
The community rate applies to groups or individuals who use the City spaces without any commercial gain. This includes groups and individuals hosting functions without charging guests an entry fee, as well as social groups using spaces for recreational purposes.
The commercial rate applies to bookings that are hiring the facility to make a profit for themselves or organisation.
The function rate applies to any booking after 4.00pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. these bookings will also include a bond subject to a facility hire officers assessment.

When booking your function please ensure your set up and pack up time is included in your facility hire time. All deliveries and collections to the facility are to be included in this time. Preparation and the drop-off of items cannot happen outside the specified booking time.
No, all deliveries and collections to and from the facility are to be included in the agreed booking time. The City of Stirling is unable to store/hold any equipment outside of the agreed time.
No. Under no circumstances can an event that is to be held in one of the City of Stirling’s Community facilities be advertised on social media or the internet without approval from the City of Stirling.
Due to noise and Health Department restrictions the latest that selected facilities can be hired to is 1.00am on Friday and Saturday nights. This includes cleaning and pack up times. All guests must leave by and noise cease by 12.00am. The hirer has until 1.00am to clean and vacate the facility. Please be aware that certain venues are not available for function hire.

Yes, the hirer must supply all cleaning equipment. The hired facility must be cleaned and vacated by the approved booking end time.
All rubbish, including emptying inside bins, needs to be placed in the outside bin compounds which hirers will have key access to. If for any reason, there is no access to bin compound all rubbish is to be removed from the premises.
To collect keys or cards, please visit the designated Facility Hire Hub one business day before your upcoming booking, between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm. As outlined in the City of Stirling Facilities Terms and Conditions of Hire, any callouts resulting from resident complaints or breaches of the terms and conditions will result in a security call-out fee for the hirer.
All facilities must be left in a clean and tidy condition with no equipment or personal belongings left in the room. Floors are to be swept (and mopped, if required). Tables and chairs are to be wiped down and returned to the designated storage areas. All food and drinks are to be removed from fridges/freezers. Bins are to be emptied and all rubbish needs to be placed in the outside bin compounds which hirers will have key access to. If for any reason, there is no access to bin compound all rubbish is to be removed from the premises.
