Council and committee meetings

Council meetings generally take place on alternating Tuesdays at 6.30pm, at the City Administration Building, 25 Cedric Street in Stirling.

The City of Stirling also has committees that meet on a regular basis. These committees make recommendations to Council in their specific areas of responsibility. Committee meetings are open to the public, with the exception of the Audit Committee meetings. As part of the ongoing Local Government Act 1995 reforms, the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultrual Industries has released a consultation paper regarding Standardised Meeting Procedures. The paper broadly sets out the proposed standardised procedures, and requests feedback from the sector.  If you would like to provide your feedback, please click here to view the proposal on the Department's website:
