Stirling Leisure - Inglewood Community Centre is part of the Inglewood Town Square on the corner of Beaufort Street and Tenth Avenue.

The community hall contains a non-commercial kitchen with a fridge, servery, microwave, stove and oven and hot water urn. It has 254m2 parquet/carpeted floor, air conditioning with heating and cooling, sound system and projector, stage with curtains, two dressing rooms and a piano. Microphone is available on request. 

The hall is attached to a courtyard and a loading bay adjacent to the kitchen. 

Please note that this venue is not suitable for hens and bucks parties, 18th and 21st birthday parties. 

The venue is also accessible via pathways, features an accessible toilet and a wheel chair lift access to the stage is available.

Hire rates

$37.00 per hour

The community rate applies to groups or individuals who use City spaces without any commercial gain. This includes groups and individuals hosting functions without charging guests an entry fee, as well as social groups using the spaces for recreational purposes. 

$61.00 per hour

The commercial rate applies to bookings that are hiring the facility to make a profit for themselves or organisation.

$400.00

The function rate applies to any booking after 4.00pm on Fridays and Saturdays. These bookings will also include a bond subject to a facility hire officers assessment.

Viewings are available from Tuesday to Thursday, between 10.00am and 3.00pm. Please make sure to book at least one business in advance.

When booking your function please ensure your set up and pack up time is included in your facility hire time. All deliveries and collections to the facility are to be included in this time. Preparation and the drop-off of items cannot happen outside the specified booking time. 

No, all deliveries and collections to and from the facility are to be included in the agreed booking time. The City of Stirling is unable to store/hold any equipment outside of the agreed time. 

No. Under no circumstances can an event that is to be held in one of the City of Stirling’s Community facilities be advertised on social media or the internet without approval from the City of Stirling. 

Due to noise and Health Department restrictions the latest that selected facilities can be hired to is 1.00am on Friday and Saturday nights. This includes cleaning and pack up times. All guests must leave by and noise cease by 12.00am. The hirer has until 1.00am to clean and vacate the facility. Please be aware that certain venues are not available for function hire. 

High-risk functions are any functions that meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Over 200 people attending the booking
  • Birthday parties for 16th – 23rd ages
  • Bachelor/bucks parties and bachelorette/hens parties
  • Sporting club functions (the City will require a letter from the Club president to confirm that it is a club event and will be covered by the club’s public liability policies)
  • Events that include the sale of alcohol.  

  • Helium balloons are allowed, if anchored. Please deflate at the end of your booking and place in rubbish bins
  • Free standing decorations are permitted provided they are removed or disposed of at the end of the functions
  • Please do not stick decorations to any painted walls or ceilings. Decorations can be attached to the felt panels on walls that are installed in some facilities
  • Please no confetti or similar materials.  

No, these are not permitted. 

Yes, the hirer must supply all cleaning equipment. The hired facility must be cleaned and vacated by the approved booking end time. 

All rubbish, including emptying inside bins, needs to be placed in the outside bin compounds which hirers will have key access to. If for any reason, there is no access to bin compound all rubbish is to be removed from the premises. 

To collect keys or cards, please visit the designated Facility Hire Hub one business day before your upcoming booking, between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm. As outlined in the City of Stirling Facilities Terms and Conditions of Hire, any callouts resulting from resident complaints or breaches of the terms and conditions will result in a security call-out fee for the hirer. 

All facilities must be left in a clean and tidy condition with no equipment or personal belongings left in the room. Floors are to be swept (and mopped, if required). Tables and chairs are to be wiped down and returned to the designated storage areas. All food and drinks are to be removed from fridges/freezers. Bins are to be emptied and all rubbish needs to be placed in the outside bin compounds which hirers will have key access to. If for any reason, there is no access to bin compound all rubbish is to be removed from the premises.
