The Hamersley Ward stretches from Hamersley in the North, to Gwelup in the South and contains a number of local reserves including shopping locations. Highlights include Lake Gwelup in Careniup Wetlands Reserve. The ward is represented by Councillor Chris Hatton and Councillor Karlo Perkov.
